Kein Ayin Hara – No Evil Eye

This work attempts to resurrect Jewish magical and folk wisdom that have carried through from the Middle East, to Spain and the Mediterranean, to the shtetls of Eastern Europe, and to the present day diaspora. These traditions are scattered, they’ve wandered great distances – We hold forgotten languages and forgotten histories, and connect through the stories we are told and those we choose to tell.  At some point the story takes on a life of its own, it awakens something in me.  I am written by it.
